Flowers Are Amazing! And that’s why we chose the name “Garden of Hope” for our fund. Flowers aren’t just pretty to look at—they are one of nature’s hardest workers!

Here are four games students may enjoy. These versions were written for desktop computer:

The Ghost in the School for iphone

Garden of Hope Flower Growing Game: Grow flowers and learn about them at the same time. Flowers help plants make seeds, which grow into new plants. Bees, butterflies, and even hummingbirds visit flowers to drink sweet nectar, and while they do, they carry pollen from one flower to another. This helps plants grow fruits and vegetables that people and animals eat. Every flower has special parts that help it do its job: the petals attract pollinators, the stem holds it up, the leaves make food from sunlight, and the roots drink water from the ground. A flower’s life cycle begins with a tiny seed. The seed sprouts into a small plant, grows leaves and a stem, and then blooms into a flower. When the flower makes new seeds, the cycle starts all over again. Flowers make our world more beautiful, help feed us, and give us fresh air to breathe—so they really are nature’s heroes!
